• Complete the BER online evaluation at the end of the course. You will be prompted to submit your IEIN in the evaluation.
• Complete the Illinois State Evaluation when prompted.

You will be asked to submit your PIC: Personal Identification Code. You will receive an email from BER within two weeks with a MI SCECH application. Complete and submit the participant MI SCECH application and a $25 fee to Eastern Michigan University. Specific directions are on the form you will receive.

BER: CTLE (Continuing Teacher and Leader Education hours) Provider # 23345
Six (6) NY CTLE hours available per course.

To be eligible to receive NY CTLE hours, it is necessary to complete the course in its entirety AND complete the following steps:

• Upon completion of a course, provide all of the requested information (including full name, address, home phone, date of birth, last four of SSN). These are requirements of New York state. Failure to provide all requested information may result in denial of CTLE Hours.
• Complete the information in the blank spaces on the Certificate of Participation provided post-training and retain your copy. (It is not necessary to send a copy of the certificate to the Office of Teaching Initiatives unless it is requested in the event of an audit or for use in obtaining an Initial Reissuance). At the end of the CTLE completer's registration cycle, they will attest to completing all of their hours on TEACH.

As of December 31, 2011, Pennsylvania Act 48 CPE hours must be reported by your District or your local Intermediate Unit. BER is not an ACT 48 Provider/Recorder, which means the responsibility for recognizing, granting, and recording professional development hours in the state database is with the participant and their Local Education Agency (which may be a District or Intermediate Unit). It is up to the Local Education Agency to determine if the activity is consistent with their PDE-approved professional education plan.
